The Grand American ROLEX 24 at Daytona International Speedway is America’s premier endurance racing event, and this Crawford/Ford competed there in 2006 driven by Academy Award winning actor Paul Newman, Sebastien Bordais, Cristiano DaMatta and Michael Brockman. Its sponsorship by the Disney Pixar animated feature film “Cars” and it’s amazing graphics made it the most memorable of the Daytona Prototypes at Daytona that year, and fans of the movie remember the driver Paul Newman was also the voice of Doc Hudson, the 1951 Hudson Hornet in the movie.
